We have a puddle (a lake really) at the bottom of our steep Rocky Mountain driveway that fills with water (or ice) and mud this time of year. One morning in March, the puddle transformed into a beautiful spiral pattern that I had never seen before. I grabbed the camera and captured the patterns in the ice before it melted or was destroyed by car tires. Just another example of beauty we can find in our own backyard...
